Individual Exam Results

Unofficial exam results for individuals are emailed by the Illinois Nurse Assistant Competency Evaluation program (INACE). The system automatically generates a result notification and sends it to the email account that is associated in the student’s INACE profile. This notification is sent it at midnight on the third day following the individual’s test date.  The email will be received from mailer@dxrgroup.com and may be delivered in the individual’s spam or junk email folder.

Official results are uploaded to the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), Health Care Worker Registry (HCWR) each Monday before 12 noon. The IDPH HCWR is the site that employers must use to verify your eligibility to be employed as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in long-term care facilities. This website is the only valid verification of your CNA status. https://hcwrpub.dph.illinois.gov/Search.aspx

If you go to the website, hcwrpub.dph.illinois.gov, in the middle of that page, you will see “Search the Health Care Worker Registry”. Enter your last name and first name — NO middle name or middle initial and click search (you may need to enter the first few letters of your first/last name). Your name will appear on a separate page, and you will need to click the square icon of a silhouette of a person with a magnifying glass which will open another page with your name and other information. At the bottom of that page, you will see the word Competency, and after that will be the date of the test and either an F1, 2 or 3, NS, or P. F = fail, NS = no show, P = Pass. You can print that page out as verification for any employer that wants to know your result of the exam.
