The Temporary Nursing Assistant program has been extended through November 2, 2020.
There will be no further extensions of the program. No new TNAs can be trained after September 18, 2020. This is an FYI to the BNATPs in case you receive questions from your clinical partners. Facilities should be encouraged to enroll their TNAs in a BNATP before the end date of the TNA program. BNATPs may give 40 hours of face-to-face clinical time credit to any TNA entering a CNA program who has worked at least 40 hours. Document in the students’ files that the student was a TNA. Include time records from the facility if possible.
