INACE Test Site COVID-19 Protocols

Listed below you will find the COVID-19 protocols put in place by INACE test sites across the State. We will be updating this page as more test sites provide their information.

If a program does not provide a specific protocol for their COVID-19 requirements, we urge the testers to call the testing facility and inquire about their requirements. We do not want testers traveling to a test site only to be denied access for non-compliance with facility requirements.

Testing Center815-280-2824Upon arrival, all testers will be required to get their temperature checked. There will be a contact-less thermal thermometer that will check every person entering the building’s temperature. Only people with a normal/healthy temperature will be allowed to enter.
All entrances will be monitored by a JJC Officer or staff member.
Masks or face coverings will be required, NO EXCEPTIONS. Please note: You will be required to wear a mask while in the building and during the duration of your exam.
Any person not wearing a mask or removing their mask will be asked to leave.

To keep you and others safe, we ask all testers to practice social distancing and stay 6 feet apart from others.
Only the tester will be allowed in the Testing Services department. No visitors will be allowed.
Upon entering into the building, please go directly to Testing Services. There will be a sign outside of the entrance door with floor-markers positioned 6 feet apart. Wait by the sign or floor-marker if there is someone in front of you, until a staff member comes to get you.
With exceptions of your Photo ID, keys, valuables, etc. please try and leave all personal belongings at home or in your car if possible. We will provide limited space for backpacks, books, etc.
Disposable pencils and scratch paper will be provided if required for your test.
Hand sanitizer and frequent handwashing will be required.

Students, staff, and visitors are required to use #CampusClear to gain access to campus buildings. Download the #CampusClear app from your app store or use the #CampusClear website. If you do not have a mobile phone or internet-connected computer, a paper visitor Health Assessment Form will be given to you by a college employee upon your arrival to campus. After screening, you will show the You are Good to Go pass to college employees before proceeding. If you receive the Not Cleared for Campus message, do not come to campus. Family/friends will not be able to wait inside the building. ​No food or drinks are allowed.

Upon arrival, please use the Student Center main entrance (door “A”) located across from the PEC (Physical Education Center) where you will be checked in for your appointment and sent down to the Testing Center.
Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes before your scheduled exam.
No one should accompany the student into the building.
Lockers will be available for use during your exam. However, we encourage you to only bring a face mask, your identification and your keys into the Testing Center.
Face masks must be worn at all times in the building. They are required to be worn throughout the entirety of your exam, and the mask may be subject to inspection by a staff member upon entering the Testing Center.
Please continue to exercise all social distancing guidelines, maintaining 6 feet apart when possible.
 
If you begin to feel ill at any point during your exam, please contact a staff member immediately.
Here are some of the precautions the Testing Center is taking to ensure your health and safety during your time with us:
All workstations, lockers, door handles and common surfaces have been thoroughly cleaned with CDC-approved products repeatedly during the day.
Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the office.
Doors will be propped open in order to limit contact.
Upon request, we can provide you with additional cleaning supplies to use before your test begins or during an allowed break.
You will be provided with disposable writing instruments and scratch paper.
